Summary
| Description |
English: E8 Hasse Diagram. This is constructed from VisibLie_Dynkin found on TheoryOfEverything.org. The vertices (nodes) have numbered root vector references (see chart on the left) and edge labels identify the added root position vector used to generate the next higher node. This also includes reference data such as the generating Cartan matrix and root vector weights. The color of the edge is assigned based on the color of the Dynkin node with the same number as the simple root added. The Cartan Matrix row is the same as the weight of the simple root vector number. The assignment of the Dynkin node number here is based on the off diagonal row and column where the Cartan Matrix entry is changed from 0. |
