Summary

Description
English: Dunleer station
Dunleer station is an example of GNR(I) station architecture. It opened in 1851 and closed in 1976. It reopened in 1979 only to close again in 1984. Irish Rail has declined to reopen it once more despite further housing development in the town and nearby Ardee. There are no stations open in the 23 miles between Drogheda and Dundalk.
