DescriptionDunes and beach at Frank B. Butler State Park.jpg
English: Frank B. Butler (1885-1973) was a prominent African American business and civic leader in St. Augustine, Florida. Originally from Georgia, the realtor and grocer purchased and opened a beach for African Americans between the Matanzas River and the Atlantic Ocean. It was the only beach for African Americans between Amelia Island and Daytona Beach. For a period it was operated by the Florida Park Service. It later became a St. Johns County park.
