Description
English: Dried blade of bull kelp (Durvillaea antarctica) with cross-section showing part of its internal honeycomb structure. The blade is about 4-5 cm (almost 2") wide, and less than 1 cm (0.4") thick. Found on Muriwai Beach, west of Auckland, New Zealand.
Deutsch: Honigwabenähnliche Struktur von Durvillaea antarctica, auch Cochayuyo oder Bull Kelp genannt.
