English: Drashti is open-source enthusiast, language lover and Java Developer. Her focus are is digital literacy with localization. She constantly work on the way how kids and elder people participate on internet. She engaged with different community like Mozilla, Localization Lab, Open-Street Map and Wikimedia. The reason why she contribute in open source is to make internet safer and better place for everyone. Her expertise is localization and encourage other to preserve their language on internet.
She is leading a open-source project named "Local-Web" where she and her team created resources(Videos, Activities, Textual Description) for web literacy in different languages. Resources are created in such way that teachers in rural India can use that different modules and activities. For preserving languages on web she included "women in web" section where women can share their stories in own language regarding how they face problem in tech industry right now or in beginning of career in tech.
Her aim is to bring diverse people group on internet and bridge gender gap. She is mentor for Mozilla Open Leadership program where is give one-to-one free mentorship for opensource project and contributor at Localization Lab for various project.
