Townsend Thoresen ferries at Dover. Townsend Thoresen started ferry operations from Dover in 1928 and continued until 1987 when taken over by P&O. Although the hulls are still in Townsend Thoresen livery, the ferries have the P&O flag logo on their funnels. The “European Clearway” is on the left and the “European Trader” on the right.
