Deutsch: Ehemalige Doppelplastik „Begegnungen“ an der Berliner Brücke in Duisburg, 1999. (Nachdem die beiden 4,80 Meter hohen 5- und 7-köpfigen Skulpturen 2007 abmontiert wurden, weil deren Sockel beschädigt waren, trennten Metalldiebe im Mai 2008 am städtischen Bauhof in Walsum-Aldenrade von beiden Skulpturen jeweils die drei größten Köpfe ab. Erschaffen wurden die Skulpturen von der Berliner Bildhauerin Ursula Hanke-Förster im Jahre 1954. Die offizielle Einweihung auf der Berliner Brücke wurde 1963 von Willy Brandt vorgenommen. Im September 2015 kehrte die restaurierte Skulpturengruppe nahe dem ehemaligen Standort auf die Berliner Brücke zurück.) |
