Description
English: Donnington Hospital almshouses Donnington Hospital was founded by Sir Richard Adderbury in 1393 as a charity to provide alms to 13 poor men of Berkshire, thus making it the oldest charity in the county. The current almshouses here date from around 1602. The website of the Donnington Hospital Trust that owns and manages the almshouses is here http://www.donnington.org/
