English: Diskit Monastery is located in the Nibra valley of Ladakh, India.
It was found by Changzem Tserab Zangpo during 14th century. It belongs to the Gelugpa school of Vajrayana Buddhism. During the 17th century, the monastery was heavily damaged and later reconstructed.
