Summary

Description
English: A black and white photograph of RRS "Discovery" signed by Captain K.N. MacKenzie - inscribed 'On we go, sincerely yours'. The leader of the BANZARE expedition was Sir Douglas Mawson, MacKenzie replaced Captain John King Davis for the second summer of the scientific research expedition, a small bay in the Amery Ice Shelf is named after him.
