Description

Seen here is a model-based reconstruction of life on an ancient seafloor during the Carboniferous Period - the "Age of Coal Swamps". This is a public exhibit at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

These are Hydnoceras glass sponges.
