Description
English: Diogo Alves (1810-1841), Portuguese mass-murderer who, from 1836 to 1839 killed several people by throwing them from the Águas Livres Aqueduct, in Lisbon. He was one of the last people to be sentenced to death in Portugal -- his head is preserved in formaldehyde in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon.

Foi um dos últimos condenados à morte em Portugal -- a sua cabeça encontra-se preservada em formol na Faculdade de Medicina de Lisboa.
