Description
English: Different processes leading to titanium dioxide from ilmenite ore. Extraction of titanium dioxide from ilmenite ore is commonly achieved by the sulfate and chloride processes after smelting or redox pre-treatments. Hydrometallurgical processes that are more direct with fewer steps are currently in development.
