Summary

Description
English: A fresco depicting a hunt scene at the tomb of Philip II, Alexander’s father, at the Archaeological Site of Aigai (modern name Vergina), the only known depiction of Alexander made during his lifetime. The painter more than likely had been acquainted with the royal family.
