Summary

Description Destroyed aircraft at the Kuwait International Airport during the 1991 Gulf War. The aircraft at left is Flight 149, the British Airways Boeing 747-136 G-AWND "Coniston Water". The destroyed aircraft on the right is a Kuwait Air Force McDonnell Douglas C-9K. They were perhaps unintentionally blown up by allied aircraft during the invasion after allied forces intervened on 18 February 1991.
