Locality: N'Chwaning III Mine, N'Chwaning Mines, Kuruman, Kalahari manganese fields, Northern Cape Province, en:South Africa (Locality at mindat.org)
A rare matrix specimen, one of only a few recovered when the miners scraped out this pocket. It has a dozen good crystals, many to 1 cm, on manganese gangue matrix. This is the richest single specimen we know of from the find, to date. Collected in the summer of 2010. Analyzed by Dr. Robert Downs at the University of Arizona. 1.8 x 1.7 x 0.6 cm.
