Description
English: "Descriptio Germaniae inferioris", the backside of the map says "Niderlandt". Map by Abraham Ortelius from 1573, one of the oldest maps showing the Low Countries (Nederlanden). 1 map : copperplate; 37 x 49 cm. [Ca. 1:1 200 000] (E 0°58'-E 8°37'/N 53°53'-N 49°10'). Made in Antwerp.
Nederlands: "Descriptio Germaniae inferioris", op de achterkant van de kaart staat "Niderlandt". Kaart van Abraham Ortelius uit 1573, een van de oudste kaarten met daarop de Nederlanden. 1 kaart : koperplaat; 37 x 49 cm. [Ca. 1:1 200 000] (E 0°58'-E 8°37'/N 53°53'-N 49°10'). Gemaakt in Antwerpen.
