English: With the beginning on the Sravana Sankranti (Juncture of two months) day, Manasa Puja is observed for three days in Natmandir (the middle part of the temple) of Kamakhya Temple. Deodhani Nritya, a shamanistic dance form is performed coinciding with Manasa Puja by persons believed to represent the spiritual power of a god or goddess.
