Description
English: Ornamental shell across the Middle-to-Upper Paleolithic transition in the Mula basin sites. a. Pecten half-valve from Middle Palaeolithic layer I-k of Cueva Antón; the reddish color of the internal side is natural; remnants of an orange colorant made of goethite and hematite are visible in the side that was painted (the external, whitish one)
