Summary

Description
English: Praying for recently deceased “Chuken Hachiko” (Loyal Dog Hachiko) in Tokyo's Shibuya Station baggage room on March 8, 1935. Hidesaburo Ueno's widow, Yaeko, is in the front row, second from the right. The photo was published the next day in the Yamato Shimbun.
日本語: 亡くなったハチと参列者達。前列の右から2番目の人物が上野の妻・八重。後列にはハチの世話をしていた駅員らが集う。(※:写真は1935年3月8日。渋谷駅倉庫にて。翌日の『やまと新聞』に掲載される。)
