Nederlands: De evangelist Johannes schrijvend op het eiland Patmos. In de hemel verschijnt Maria staande op de zevenkoppige draak. Johannes heeft een pen in de rechterhand, een opengeslagen boek in de linkerhand. Een engeltje houdt een inktpot omhoog. Rechts op de voorgrond twee putti die elkaar omhelzen. Links een adelaar op een boek.
