Nederlands: Familieportret van de Amsterdamse doopsgezinde familie Brak in een interieur zittend rond een tafel voor een schoorsteenmantel. Van links naar rechts: dominee Jan Brak (1717-61), zijn broer Pieter Brak (ca. 1714-na 1778), zijn vader Harmen Brak (overl. 1768), zijn schoonzuster Margaretha Hasselaar (1726-80/83) met haar echtgenoot Cornelis Brak (1724-82). Staande op de voorgrond is hun oudste dochter met een pop, Margaretha (geb. 1752) zit op haar moeders schoot. Links een doorkijk naar de bibliotheek.
