Some scenes look the same no matter what time of year. Despite the very cold temperatures and significant amount of snow, this view of 15 Church St. in downtown St. Catharines, Ontario looks like it could be on a sunny mid summer day (a non hazy one).
15 Church St. has seen a lot of changes since it was originally constructed in the 1960's. Formerly the head office for Provincial Gas and subsequently, Day-timers Canada, the building now sits empty.
The midwinter sun, reflected off the front of the building at an angle betrays the building's current state of disrepair, making it look as new as it was on opening day almost 50 years ago.
