English: In this volume, Urquhart devotes two chapters to describing the so-called 'Turkish baths' (i.e. Islamic hammams) which he encountered on his travels in Morocco and the Ottoman Empire where he served in Constantinople (Istanbul) as a diplomat in the 1830s.
