Summary

Description David Sanjek, professor of music and director of the Centre for Popular Music at the University of Salford, Greater Manchester, England, speaking as part of "Pop, Politics, and Social Control in the City of Quartz" panel at the 2008 Pop Conference, Experience Music Project, Seattle, Washington. From 1991 to 2007, Sanjek was director of the BMI Archives.
