Date 1887. A mounted copy of this photo, with superscription "The Darlington Football Club Winners of the Cleveland Challenge Cup 1887" and handwritten names underneath, appears on this website. The names are those of the winning players in that cup final, as can be verified in e.g. the York Herald of 9 April 1887 page 16, accessible via the British Newspaper Archive for those with a subscription.
