English: Tea picking by women laborers at a Darjeeling Tea estate. The plucking period is during the four Darjeeling Tea seasons, mainly Darjeeling First Flush, Darjeeling Second Flush, Monsoon and Autumn Flush. Most of the teas are plucked by women known for their tender plucking which is much needed to retain the two leaf and a bud intact. Thus resulting in the best of tea processing and a good high quality Darjeeling Tea. These women are the heart of Darjeeling Tea industry. Thanks to them for their hard work! Love Darjeeling Tea!
