The plucking period is during the four Darjeeling Tea seasons, mainly Darjeeling First Flush, Darjeeling Second Flush, Monsoon and Autumn Flush. Most of the teas are plucked by women known for their tender plucking which is much needed to retain the two leaf and a bud intact.
