English: German steam locomotive 23 042 (build in 1954) leaves the train station in Frankenberg/Eder, hessia, germany.
Deutsch: Dampflokgetriebener Sonderzug verlässt den Bahnhof im hessischen Frankenberg (Eder) in Richtung Korbach (bis Bahnhof Herzhausen am Edersee). Dieser -damals normalerweise nicht mehr befahrene- Streckenabschnitt der "Unteren Edertalbahn" (als Teil der Bahnstrecke Warburg–Sarnau) wurde am 23. und 24. Oktober 2010 anlässlich eines Streckenfestes zur Wiedereröffnung der 120 Jahre alten "Burgwaldbahn" (nach umfangreicher Renovierung) mit einigen unterschiedlich bespannten Sonderzügen befahren; hier mit der DB-Personenzug-Dampflokomotive 23 042, Baujahr 1954. Seit dem 14. September 2015 ist die Strecke Frankenberg-Korbach reaktiviert. |
