English: It is a cuisine mainly connected to odisha and West Bengal too. The rice is soaked in water called pakhala in odisha, daka by Santali tribal people. The chutney placed in the leaf is red ant chutney common to tribal people which tastes better than any other chutney. The picture is taken in a Santali home at dulki village , jhargram district of West Bengal.
