Description
English: Norwegian passenger ship SS Prins Olav in Molde. This ship is the former British Royal Yacht Alexandra built in 1908 and sold to the Norwegian shipping company NFDS in 1925. After a complete rebuild, she sailed in the coastal express service (Hurtigruten) from 1937 to 1940.
Norsk bokmål: Turistskipet DS «Prins Olav» bygd i 1908. Skipet var britisk kongeskip (HMY «Alexandra») frem til NFDS kjøpte henne i 1925. Etter en total ombygging gikk skipet i hurtigruten fra 1937 til 1940.
