Summary

Description
English: The battered front end of a former Long Island Rail Road ALCO FA-1 diesel locomotive number 617 at the Danbury Railway Museum in Danbury, Connecticut. At first I was hoping this might be an FA-2, but sadly I found out this wasn't the case. The Wikimedia Commons needs more images in the "ALCO FA-2 locomotives of the Long Island Rail Road" category, and sadly, this does not qualify.
