Notes Sohn von Albrecht IV. dem Weisen; regierte gemeinsam mit seinem Bruder Ludwig X.Bayern trotz des Primogeniturgesetzes, indem sie die Besitztümer München-Landshut aufteilten. Ludwig vertrieb als Hauptmann des Schwäbischen Bundes 1519 den Herzog Ulrich. Ihrer beiden Schwester war Sabina von Bayern. (AKG, Berlin).
