Object history
Deutsch: Das Wappenbild repräsentiert das Wirken von drei Adelsgeschlechtern, die jeweils über lange Zeitspannen eng mit der Geschichte von Sünching verbunden waren. Der Eberrumpf erinnert an das Ortsadelsgeschlecht der Sünchinger, das von Mitte des 12. bis Mitte des 14. Jahrhunderts nachweisbar ist. Die Sünchinger führten ein springendes schwarzes Wildschwein, �eine wilde Saw�, im gelben Schild (Grabstein der Kunigunde von Sünching in der Dominikanerkirche in Regensburg). Der gezinnte Sparren verweist auf die Hofer von Lobenstein, die bis Mitte des 15. Jahrhunderts Ortsherren in Sünching waren (Grabdenkmal des Dietrich Hofer im Turmhaus der Sünchinger Pfarrkirche). Der Eber war auch das Wappensymbol der Seinsheimer, die von 1573 bis 1916 auf Schloss Sünching residierten; von deren Wappen wurde die Tingierung Silber und Blau übernommen.
