Blazon InfoField	Deutsch: Mit Urkunde des Regierungspräsidenten vom 30. April 1979 ist der Gemeinde das Recht zur Führung eines Wappens, eines Dienstsiegels und eines Banners, mit Urkunde des Regierungspräsidenten vom 30. Oktober 1986 zusätzlich die Führung einer Hissflagge, verliehen worden. „Von Rot und Gelb geteilt, vorn ein gelber Turm mit steiler Haube, hinten zwei rote pfahlweise gestellte Eichhörnchen.“ Das Wappen der Gemeinde Raesfeld ist von Rot und Gelb geteilt. Die beiden Teile stehen jeweils für die größeren Ortsteile Raesfeld und Erle. Der gelbe Turm mit steiler Haube im roten Teil des Wappens symbolisiert das im Ortsteil Raesfeld gelegene Wasserschloss, die zwei roten, pfahlweise gestellten Eichhörnchen im gelben Teil stammen aus dem Erler Wappen, welches auf das Wappen derer von Ichorne aus dem 13. bis 15. Jahrhundert zurückgeht. English: „The arms were granted on April 30, 1979. The arms are a combination of the tower of the Raesfeld Castle and the arms of Erle. General Alexander von Velen (?-1675) received in 1642 the title Count (Graf) von Velen and built a castle in Raesfeld. This castle became the centre of his powers and thus of the area.“
