Deutsch: Die Stadt führt Wappen, Siegel und Flagge, die ihre historische Vergangenheit versinnbildlichen. „Das Wappen der Stadt zeigt, gespalten von Silber (Weiß) und Blau, vorne einen schwarzen Turm, hinten eine goldene (gelbe) Abtskrümme.“ Der Kirchturm stammt von einem Pulheimer Schöffensiegel aus dem 14. Jahrhundert. Der Abtsstab (Krummstab - Krümme) wurde dem Wappen der Abtei Brauweilerentnommen; es stammt aus dem 16. Jahrhundert.
English: „The arms were granted on September 26, 1977. The tower is taken from the old arms of Pulheim, the staff is taken from the arms of Brauweiler.“
