Object history
Deutsch: Der Stadt Borgentreich ist mit Urkunde des Regierungspräsidenten in Detmold vom 19. Juli 1976 das Recht zur Führung eines Wappens und einer Flagge verliehen worden. Weiterhin führt ein Dienstsiegel mit dem Stadtwappen. Das Vortragekreuz ist ein Zeichen der ehemaligen Stadt Borgentreich, die rote Lilie eines der ehemaligen Stadt Borgholz. Die zwölf Mauerzinnen in blauer Farbe darunter repräsentieren die heutigen zwölf Ortsteile.
