These images were taken in the Champalimaud Foundation as a results of the discovery made by Samuel Walker et al. (Behavior and Metabolism Lab at the Champalimaud Neuroscience Programme). The photos were taken using a macro lens mounted in a DSLR camera and the set-up was illuminated using standard microscope lights.
