Summary

Description

We may have moved to the Lawrence Collection today but we remain firmly in Poole territory of Waterford. This magnificent pile is unlikely to have survived the "Troubles" but if it has it would make a most interesting place to visit?

Photographer: Robert French

Collection: Lawrence Photograph Collection

Date: between ca. 1865-1914 NLI Ref: L_CAB_04065

This proved to be a Red Herring as Annaghmore House turned out to be Curraghmore House the home of the Marquis of Waterford and a place we have visited here many times in the past! Thank you one and all for your help in clearing up the confusion! What is pleasing about this is that the old pile did indeed survive the "Troubles" intact!
