The large building on the far left is the Crissy Field Warming Hut Cafe and Bookstore (Presidio Building 983), the smaller building visible to the right of the Cafe is part of the Gulf of the Farallones National Marine Sanctuary Headquarters located at the Presidio's former Coast Guard Lifesaving Station in use from 1890 to 1990. Torpedo Wharf can be seen extending from the Warming Hut Cafe behind the small building at the end of the Lifesaving Station's pier. |
