English: Slender hawksbeard is somewhat common in the mountain big sagebrush steppe along Reservoir Creek Road, west of Bannack, Beaverhead County, Montana. The basal leave have margins with pinnatifid lobes and the stems and leaves are covered in short whitish hairs and the involucral bracts bear black setae.
