Summary

Description
English: Cover of Indonesian regular passport. The coat of arms and words on the scan result here are depicted in light blue, however they are actually in dark orange color on the real passport. Special ink/dye may have been used to demonstrate such behavior, perhaps to enhance security. Since January 2011, Indonesia started issuing electronic passports (e-passports), which is available for public yet not mandatory until 2015.
Bahasa Indonesia: Sampul paspor biasa Indonesia. Lambang garuda pancasila dan tulisan pada hasil pindaian (scan) di sini terlihat berwarna biru muda, namun pada paspor asli nyatanya berwarna oranye gelap. Tinta/pewarna khusus yang dapat berubah warna ketika dipindai dengan alat pindai (scanner) mungkin digunakan untuk memastikan keamanan dan keaslian paspor. Sejak Januari 2011, Indonesia mulai menerbitkan paspor elektronik (e-paspor). Pemohon paspor RI dapat memilih paspor biasa atau e-paspor. Mulai tahun 2015, pemerintah akan menghentikan penerbitan paspor biasa (non-elektronik) dan hanya akan menawarkan e-paspor kepada publik.
