English: Corus Steelworks, Rotherham This view shows a number of the main buildings of the complex. In the distance, to the right the electric arc furnace building. The next stage occurs in the central building in the distance. This is the continuous casting plant where the molten steel is cast into blooms - large slabs which will then pass to the rolling mills. The four tall brick chimneys to the left are the bloom re-heating plant; here the blooms are brought up to the right temperature before passing to the rolling mills, one of which can be seen in the foreground.
