Summary

Description

Ball-and-stick model of the unit cell as part of the crystal structure of copper(I)-chloride, CuCl.

Copper chloride adapts the zinc sulfide (ZnS, sphalerite) arrangement in the crystal structure.

Structure determined by X-ray crystallography reported in J. Am. Chem. Soc. (1922) 44, 30–36 (ICSD entry ICSD 23988 and COD entry 1010991).
