English: Converted Barracks 2 - Portsmouth Another view of the converted Royal Marine Barracks. I am not sure if the building on the left is a conversion or a new build. If it is a new build, then it has been designed very well to blend in. The top of the tower, which can just be seen it its right hand end was the ornate water tower for the barracks. It has also been converted into dwellings.
