Summary

Description A U.S. Navy Convair XFY-1 experimental vertical take off and landing aircraft (BuNo 138649) in flight at Naval Auxiliary Air Station Brown Field, California (USA), in November 1954. Flying in the background is a Grumman TBM-3 Avenger. Their aircraft was called the "Pogo" after the popular "pogo stick" toy.
