Windows: Multi-glazed, Ultra "R" Polar by Bonneville, with Low-E Film and Argon Fill. All non-fixed windows are locking casement type to prevent heat leakage. HVAC: The building is air tight and super insulated, including exterior foam around the full 8 foot basement, with the air exchange and humidity controlled by a powered Van-EEE Heat Recovery Ventilation System, with a high efficiency gas furnance and hot water system, a high efficiency gas fireplace, as well as a high efficiency electric air conditioning system. Infrastructure: Modern filter-bed type Septic System by Gary Davis Contracting, Paudash Lake, Ontario, and Well and Water System by Earl V. Marquardt and Son, Inc. Palmer Rapids, Ontario.
