Azure, a saltire (or St Andrew's cross argent) cantoned with a ship under sail flagged of Scotland in chief proper, and in base a Peruvian sheep; in the dexter flank a camel loaded, and in the sinister an elephant bearing a turret, all of the second; crest, a rising sun proper; supported on the dexter by an Indian and on the sinister by a Negro in their proper dress, each bearing on his shoulder a cornucopia proper, standing on a table of compartment whereon are these words, Vis unita fortior [strength united is stronger], and above all on an escrol for motto, Qua panditur orbis [to wherever the world extends].
