English: Plaque at 29 Długa Street in Warsaw (former Hotel Polski – “Polish Hotel”), commemorating almost 2500 Polish Jews interned in this building by Nazi Germans through the spring of 1943. Most of them were later murdered in German death camps or executed in the ruins of Warsaw’s Ghetto.
Polski: Tablica na ścianie dawnego Hotelu Polskiego przy ul. Długiej 29 w Warszawie, upamiętniająca ok. 2500 polskich Żydów, których wiosną 1943 roku Niemcy internowali na terenie tego budynku, a następnie w większości wymordowali w obozach zagłady lub ruinach getta warszawskiego. |
