English: Cockburn Street Cockburn Street is Edinburgh's traditional youth street. Record stores have been in retreat, although the utterly wonderful Avalanche Records is still going strong, but the usual mix of clothes shops and restaurants are still there.
A worrying trend is that the dreaded tartan tat shops are sneaking in, after all but sterilising the High Street.
