English: Aerial photograph of Cockatoo Island, Sydney Harbour. Ships in this photograph, are (from bottom left corner): 1. At Plate Wharf: HMA Ships Queenborough (inboard) and Quiberon (outboard) at an early stage of conversion to Type 15 Frigates -- 2. On No 1 Building Slipway: HMAS Voyager (Daring class destroyer No 1, launched 1 March 1952) -- 3. At Sutherland Wharf: Floating crane Titan and Tribal class destroyer HMAS Bataan (in refit) -- 4. In floating dock AFD 17: Mortlake Bank -- 5. In Fitzroy Dock: HMAS Koompartoo -- 6. At Bolt Shop Wharf: Tribal class destroyer HMAS Arunta (during modernisation refit) -- 7. At Cruiser Wharf: P&O MV Palana during major grounding damage repairs (March 1951 to October 1952).
